Emi Normalina Omar

Dr. Emi Normalina Omar (CMILT). She is a Senior Lecturer of Transport and Logistics, Centre of Technology and Supply Chain Management at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Malaysia. She finished her master degree in International Logistics, University of Plymouth, United Kingdom. Her PhD in Transport and Logistics focused on Halal Supply Chain at MITRANS, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia. She received various grants related to her work in transport and logistics, as well as in the field of halal such as:
- Developing The Halalan Tayyiban Supply Chain Framework For Logistics Industry, (2015-2018) • Roadmap of Halal Logistics in the Food Industry (2010-2014)
- Risk assessment of the food delivery towards food riders (2020)
In training, she is an appointed trainer for the Halal Executive Training Programme (HEP) by the Halal Professional Board (HPB), JAKIM, Malaysia. She had trained various students background in the HEP for several years. Indeed, she was also, one of the speakers in the World Halal Summit 2018 (WHS 2018), Istanbul Turkey.
